The oldest wooden reconstructed castle in Japan. The castle town can be viewed from the top of the mountain, and visitors can feel the history of Gujo as well as the magnificent view of the four seasons.

The Gujo Odori, a summer festival, is a major event held by the entire town. The all-night dance is a specialty of the festival, and can be observed and participated in throughout the night.
